Tony Geldolf

Born in 1944 in Izegem.

Studies of industrial engineer electronics and mechanics at the Higher Technical Institute in Ostend.

Worked for about 30 years in the engineering department of Colruyt and at Dolmen (Colruyt's IT department).

Developed software and hardware at these companies (Dats fuel pumps, voice generation,..). Was a teacher of PC software packages at Dolmen for about 10 years. Years of experience with telephony, machine controls, burglary and fire protection.

Since 2004, together with our son Ignaz, I have been intensely studying the sharpening of knives, chisels and other cutting objects. Since 2006 he has been giving regular demonstrations and workshops on sharpening.
